Enjoy live demonstrations of Chuck Box Cuisine and discover how cowboys prepared and stored food while on the move. Try your hand at roping cattle\, design your own bandana and dive into history by examining the variety of skills—from cooking to dentistry—that cowboys mastered to wrangle life on the trails and ranches. \nIt’s a day of discovery\, adventure and hands-on fun as you connect with the untold stories of the Black cowboys who shaped Texas history. \nCurator-led exhibition tours at 11 a.m.\, noon and 1 p.m. \nChuckbox Cuisine demonstrations at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. \nCost: Participation in this Family Day is free with Witte Museum Admission.
