Less Charitable Trust Nature and Science Courtyard \nEnjoy a fall-themed story with a Witte Museum Educator. \nChuckbox Cuisine – Ewing Halsell Hall \nFind out who the “Bean Wrangler” is and what he might carry in his chuckbox on long trail drives across North America. Would you have what it takes to do this important job? \n10:30 a.m. \nHunting the Pecos – Adventure Walk  \nHave you ever wondered what was it like to hunt thousands of years ago? Join our Witte educators and discover how the People of the Pecos used the natural resources around them to hunt. \nBirds of a Feather – East Foundation Land Stewardship Lab \nHave you ever wondered if dinosaurs had feathers and why? Come find out in our presentation of Birds of a Feather. \n11 a.m.\nStorytime – John R. and Greli N. Less Charitable Trust Nature and Science Courtyard \nEnjoy a history themed story with a Witte Museum Educator. \nChili Queen Flavors – Ewing Halsell Hall \nDiscover the rich history of Texas legendary Chili Queens as you grind spices using a traditional molcajete. Immerse yourself in the flavors that shaped the Lone Star State’s iconic cuisine. \n11:30 a.m.\nAnimal Encounter – Memorial Auditorium \nDid you know the museum is home to several Texas native animals? Find out more about our backyard neighbors during a demonstration of Animal Encounters.
