DESCRIPTION:Add to your Witte experience with hands-on explorations of Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Art and Math at STEAM Sunday. \nWhat is a bearing\, and how does it help us find our way?  \nInspired by the special exhibition Explore Your World\, this family-friendly\, hands-on workshop explores the math and science of navigation. You’ll discover how compasses work as you complete challenges to find your way at the Witte Museum. \nCost: $8 (non-member) / $6 (member) + Museum Admission \nImportant Information: \n\nAdvanced registration is required. Participation in this event requires Witte Museum general admission (sold separately)\, plus STEAM Sunday ticket for each participant.\nPurchase includes all supplies needed for interactive workshop and collectible button.\nNon-participating family members are welcome (space permitting) and do not need to purchase a ticket.\nRecommended for all ages over 5.\nProgram runs approximately 45-60 minutes.\nSTEAM Sunday ticket sales close one hour before the program begins.
